Awareness session on organ donation

An awareness session on the organ and body donation was conducted on 26/03/25 at Dr. B. R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre, New Delhi for the faculty, staff members, SRs, JRs, interns and students from 2 pm onwards. 

The session started by the welcome note by the principal, Dr Neeraj Gupta. The awareness program was led by Dr. Vishal Chaddha and he presented the session utilising the PowerPoint presentation. Other members who presented were Dr. Kirti Vardhan Sahni, Shri Deepak Goel and Shri Sunil Gandharv.

The session successfully provided the participants with comprehensive knowledge about  organ and body donation and it’s importance and need in the present scenario.

 

World No Tobacco Day

As a part the 'World No Tobacco' Day Fortnight campaign, various Anti -
Tobacco activities were carried out in SHMC to create awareness
regarding the harmful effects of Tobacco among doctors, JRs, Inters,
nursing officers and administrative staff members.
On 31st May, Anti-Tobacco pledge was administered by Prof. Neeraj
Gupta, Principal, SHMC. All Doctors JRs, Interns, Nursing officers,
administrative staff and NCH inspection team took the Anti-Tobacco
pledge.
Anti-Tobacco posters created by students of SHMC were displayed in
OPD premises to sensitise the patients visiting the Hospital.

 

100 Days TB ELIMINATION CAMPAIGN

As part of the 100-day TB elimination campaign, Dr. B.R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College and
Research Centre (SHMC) has undertaken several activities to raise awareness and disseminate
information about TB among patients and staff members of the hospital. These activities include:
• Displaying IEC materials
• Raising awareness among staff
• Sharing anti-TB messages on social media
• Screening high-risk groups of patients visiting the hospital
• Organizing the Ni-kshay Shapath
• Conducting Awareness Talks

 

Session on POSH Act:

A session on the POSH Act( prevention of sexual harassment at workplace )was conducted on 07/03/25 by the internal complaints committee, at Dr. B. R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College & Research Centre, New Delhi for the faculty, staff members, SRs, JRs and Interns from 1:30 PM onwards. 

The session started by the welcome note by the principal, Dr Neeraj Gupta. Sh. Agir Gupta, advocate of the High Court was the resource person. He talked about the POSH Act, constitution of internal complaints committee, and its members, what comes under the category of sexual harassment, How to lodge a complaint in ICC, how to do the proceedings of ICC and penalties, which can be given to the accused. History.

The session successfully provided the participants with comprehensive knowledge about the POSH Act and its implications. The session ended with the vote of thanks from the head of Office Dr RC Bawiskar.

 

 

Observation of World Environment day


On the occasion of World Environment day 2024 the Swachhata committee of the institute organised a program with plantation drive under the supervision of principle Dr Neeraj Gupta and nodal officer of the committee, Dr Archana Narang,  on 20th June 2024 ,9:30 onwards.
Honorable President,MARBH(NCH) Dr. K.R Janardanan Nair was the chief guest & Dr Anand Kumar Chaturvedi and Dr Sanjay Gupta were the guests of honour.

Awareness talk by Dr.Ankita Jain, JR on the topic 'The Impact of drought and heat on health'.
Sensitization on 'Water conservation methods' by Dr.Aishwarya, JR
Vote of thanks by Head of office Dr.Bawiskar.
The program was attended by all the faculty members PG students, interns, nursing staff, sanitation staff and other staff members of the institute.

 

International Day of Older Persons:

To mark this day ,Two week campaign 26th Sept. to 10th Oct. 2021 was    celebrated in the institution . Sensitization and awareness programme has    been organized for medical and paramedical staff, senior citizens awareness    regarding COVID 19 conducted by intern doctors of this institute, online    sensitization and training was held for the medical and paramedical staff.
